Welcome to the plays of Claudia Haas. I am so glad you are here! The plays have had over 1500 productions in every state in the USA as well as on five continents. I have a large body of work for intergenerational and young audiences as well as young performers. I skype and zoom for free (after 9 a.m. CST because... coffee). I also visit libraries, theatres, and schools (but... not free unless local ... because I need to afford coffee). NEWS: Sweet recognition about my work on Dear Anne from Nina and My Brother's Gift from Broadway World. Interview about my work with Eva Schloss on My Brother's Gift. The play focuses on Her brother's art during the Holocaust. White Bear Lake Press Publication COMING IN MAY: Hayley Mills and Grandma (working title): a one-act play about trying to re-invent yourself and discovering instead what is unique about you. Strong roles for teen females and one 60-ish female. The Alcotts were happy settled in their Concord, MA home for seven years when it was announced that they would have to move - again. Fed up with working many jobs and her father's debt, Louisa makes a vow that she will become an independent woman. The play chronicles Louisa's vow to herself and family. CAST: 12 (8 female, 4 male).
